Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve the purchase of Emergency Communications Console Modernization from Russ Bassett Corporation for the total not-to-exceed amount of $699,719.00, pursuant to HGAC contract EC07-20, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

The approval of this purchase will benefit the Williamson County Emergency Communications Department with console modernization. The cost includes all associated design, project management, console materials, freight services and installation services. Removal and disposal of the current workstations that have reached their end of life is included in the cost. This is replacement furniture for the 9-1-1 dispatch floor which currently is using furniture that was designed for the previous center and replacement parts are not available for the damaged units. The new furniture is designed for the current work space, and will add seven (7) additional workstations for a total of twenty-eight (28) workstations. The attached Proposal has the detailed information of costs and services defined. This purchase and vendor relationship was put in place three budget cycles ago and was brought forward for approval under the previous co-op policy prior to the current co-op spend guideline. Legal, Audit, Budget and IT have reviewed this proposal.
