The bid form included a base bid and a base plus add alternate bid. The add alternate includes a new City of Round Rock 42-inch waterline. The low bidder for both the base bid and the base plus add alternate bid is Cash Construction. Their lowest bid of $36,145,959.00 was 3.0% below the engineers estimate. The bidding was competitive with the lowest two bidders being within 7.5% of each other.
