Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Amendment No. 7 with United Healthcare Systems (UHC) regarding Contract No 911463, effective January 1, 2023, and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
This is to correct the Fee Credit for 2023 FY that the county will receive and will be applied on the February Medical Headcount Enrollment monthly UHC Self Bill. The Amendment remitted for January 2023, had an incorrect fee noted. UHC conducts an SAP Review each quarter comparing enrolled headcount to paid enrollment headcount. If there is a 1% difference reflecting enrolled vs. paid, the county must pay the difference. If the review reflects less than 1% then the county does not have to pay any difference. This is being added to account for this review process and payment that would be expected should the county have an above 1% difference compared to enrolled vs. paid headcount. The funding source is 01.0885.0885.0041054 for FY 23 budget and the point of contact is Shelley Loughrey.
