Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the service contract #2023104 for sidewalk repairs at the Juvenile Justice Center, 200 Wilco Way, Georgetown, TX 78626 by Salvador Santos d/b/a Mayas Concrete in the not-to-exceed amount of $5,760.00 and authorizing the execution of this agreement.

Background

Facilities Management submitted requisition #130774 for sidewalk repairs at the Juvenile Justice Center near the northeast administrative entrance. The attached quote is for services to include the removal of 480 sq. ft. of sidewalk, hauling and disposal of concrete sidewalk, preparation of a 2-inch sand bedding, place 4” depth (min) of class “A” 3000 PSI Concrete with six by six inch (6x6) 6 gauge minimum welded wire fabric place center of flat work, surface texture to match existing with all work being done in accordance with City of Georgetown requirements and cleanup of all debris created by job. Five (5) quotes were obtained by Facilities Management with the lowest bidder being Mayas Concrete for $5,760.00. Funding Source is 01.0100.1045.004509. The point of contact is Angel Gomez.
