Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the purchase and service contract #2023114 between G2 Construction Services, Inc. and Williamson County for shooting range renovations and installation of the 360 Target System at the Sheriff’s Office Training Center Shooting Range in the amount of $250,000.00, pursuant to TIPS contract #211001 and execution of the agreement. Funding Source is P574.

This project is for a bullet trap and target training system at the Sheriff’s Office Training Center Shooting Range located at 8160 Chandler Road, Hutto, TX 78634.  The project will install a new backstop at the end of the range with cement block 55’ X 15’ X 15' open at one end, a new cement pad inside the new backstop and 55’ X 15’ X 4” 20,000 lb rubber media. The Quick Turn 360 Target System with computer and pad control enhances the live-fire training experience. The proposal is in the amount of $250,000.00. Funding Source is P574, approved for FY2023 and the department point of contact is Dwayne Gossett.
