Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding closing a portion of CR 245 and detouring through traffic during construction of the Cowan Creek Bridge, as part of the on CR 245 project, a 2019 Road Bond Project in Precinct 3.
Background
The proposed detour of through traffic on existing CR 245 is necessary to construct a new bridge over Cowan Creek. The detour will last no more than six months. Adjacent property owners, Williamson County Emergency Communications, the US Postal Service, the City of Georgetown, and the Sun City community will be notified 1 month prior to any changes in the traffic pattern.
