9:30 am Conduct a public hearing relating to a request from Commissioner Pct. 4 to transfer the funding for six position increases from Non-Departmental to the following Budgets : Sheriff’s Office, Corrections, County Attorney and District Attorney. Budget increases will be for the positions of Chief Deputy, Asst. Chief Deputy (3), and Chief Investigators (2) and discuss (#1) the reason for the funding transfer, including the public purpose that will be served by transferring the funding; and (#2) the exact amount of the funding transfer, the sources of the payment, and the terms for distribution of the payment that effect and maintain the public purpose to be served if any excess is needed.
