Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving Amendment #1 between Williamson County and Democracy Live, Inc. to extend the agreement term, and authorizing execution of the amendment.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Elections department through continued use of the OmniBallot online products and services. Democracy Live provides the County a PDF ballot delivery system that enables qualified voters to access return materials and a PDF of the appropriate ballot style. The voter prints the PDF locally, marks the paper ballot, and subsequently returns the completed ballot to the County. Process is Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) compliant. Amendment #1 extends the term through December 31st, 2027. IT, legal, contract audit, and budget have reviewed the amendment. Products and services will be provided at the same pricing as original contract, $9,000 annually. The Department obtained three quotes for this service. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0492.004506 as per FY23 budget. Department contact is Chris Davis.
