Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a Sub-recipient Agreement with Williamson County Crisis Center (D/B/A Hope Alliance) for funding through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) (A.L.N.21.027) for the Temporary Auxiliary Emergency Shelter Program, effective April 1, 2023.
Background
On February 7, 2023, the Commissioners Court unanimously approved the motion: To enter into agreements with HOPE Alliance, necessary for the use of a county facility to be used as a temporary auxiliary emergency shelter needed to increase public safety and meet a public purpose to be funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. This item is a follow-up agreement to the Court action.
