Background
Williamson County sent out over six thousand four hundred (6,400) notifications with thirty-seven (37) document takers and two (2) submitting firms. The bids have been reviewed and the apparent low bidder, Chasco Constructors, Ltd., LLP, was found to be responsive and materially balanced. Their lowest bid of $1,034,443.00 was only 4.63% above the Engineers Estimate. In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder, Chasco Constructors, Ltd., LLP, has successfully completed previous projects for Williamson County. Based on the quality of work performed and favorable working relationship with the County and its Representatives, it is recommended to award the CR 207 HMAC Widening IFB #23IFB57 contract to Chasco Constructors, Ltd., LLP.
