Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #23RFP50 and RFP #23RFP51 Maintenance, Repair Service, Inspection, & Testing of Environmental Systems Technology (EST) and Honeywell Brand Devices on an “as needed” basis to Blackhawk Fire and Safety, LLC and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

Background

Williamson County sent out over seventy-five hundred (7,500) notifications with thirty (30) document takers and six (6) submitting firms (two (2) submitting firms were deemed non-responsive). The qualified responses were reviewed and, the evaluation team recommends Blackhawk Fire and Safety, LLC be awarded the Maintenance, Repair Service, Inspection, & Testing of Environmental Systems Technology (EST) and Honeywell Brand Devices on an “as needed” basis for Williamson County contracts RFP #23RFP50 and RFP #23RFP51. The contract terms will begin October 1, 2023, and shall continue until September 30, 2025, with the option to renew for four (4) additional twelve (12) month terms with the terms and conditions remaining the same. These two RFPs were combined into one services agreement as they are for the same terms and conditions, awarded to the same vendor but for different brands. Estimated budget is $400,000.00. Funding Sources are 01.0100.0509.4500, 01.0100.0509.004509, and 01.0100.0509.004510. Christi Stromberg is the Point of Contact.
