Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 5 in the amount of $1,093,581.24 for Project T3346 Southeast Loop Segment 1 Phase 1 (James Construction Group) P: 463 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order revises the quantities for earthwork, roadway and various other bid items. The original quantities were incorrect in the Bid documents. See attached Change Order for additional information. Revised plan sheets are also being issued with this Change Order, per the changes mentioned above.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $1,093,581.24 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $13,176,127.65. The original Contract amount was $11,526,789.09. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $1,649,338.56 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 14.31% net increase in the overall Contract cost.
