Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $83,559.50 for Project 22IFB126 Future County Road (CR404 to FM973) (Chasco Constructors) P: 619a Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order adds quantities to existing items due to unexpected changes in field conditions, causing overruns on the project. The excavation and embankment quantities were adjusted in order to tie into CR 404. Both the 18-inch and 36-inch drill shafts at the Boggy Creek Bridge needed to be extended to ensure the shafts had proper embedment into stable material. No new items were added by this Change Order.

This Change Order results in an increase of $83,559.50 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $11,414,748.50. The original Contract amount was $11,289,929.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $124,819.50 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 1.11% net increase to the overall Contract cost.
