Background
The District Attorney requests to move surplus salary dollars from PCN 0915 and PCN 1634 to PCN 0061.
The budgeted salary for the vacant position is near the B-Grade minimum. The position has been vacant since March 31, 2023 and no applications have been received from candidates who meet the job requirements. The District Attorney seeks to attract qualified applicants for this position by increasing the offered salary.
The Court has approved similar requests for the County Attorney’s Office (5/25/2021 - Item 35) and the County Tax Assessor (5/10/2022 - Item 30).
