Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval and receipt of the Standard Agreement with North Austin Municipal Utility District #1 (Rattan Creek) for off duty contracting of County Sheriff Deputies to be effective October 1, 2023.
Background
This renewal agreement gives permission for North Austin MUD #1 (Rattan Creek) to contract County Sheriff Deputies in a private capacity and the County to invoice that MUD for deputies' vehicle usage. The term of this agreement shall begin on October 1, 2023 and will have two additional one year automatic renewals on October 1, 2024 and October 1, 2025. The agreement will be revisited with proper approvals from the Commissioners Court for October 1, 2026 (FY'27).
