Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding IFB #23IFB90 CR130 Pavement Rehabilitation to Chasco Constructors in the amount of One Million, Three Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-Six Dollars ($1,374,476.00) and authorize execution of the agreement. Funding Source is P626.
Background
Williamson County sent out over 7,100 invitations to this solicitation and received four (4) submissions from qualified contractors to provide materials, experienced milling/excavating, stabilizing, sealing, HMAC paving crew and equipment to rehabilitate CR 130 from Chandler Rd to 1st Curve. Chasco Constructors was found to be responsive, mathematically correct, and materially balanced. The contractors low base bid is $3,509.00 below the Engineer’s Estimate, a cost decrease of 0.25%. Based on the low bid of $1,374,476.00 and the respondent's previous work experience, the Deputy Director of Infrastructure recommends awarding to Chasco Constructors for this project. The funding source is P626 and the point of contact is Terron Evertson.
