Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action approving the Williamson County Judge as the County's Authorized Representative under Section 111 of the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007, as required for the County’s self-funded Workers’ Compensation Program.
Background
Section 111 of the MMSEA requires that the County register the newly approved Williamson County self-funded Workers' Compensation Program as a Responsible Reporting Entity (RRE) with the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). An authorized representative is required in order to facilitate this process.
