Discuss, Consider and take appropriate action on approving the Bridge Program Loaner Product Agreement #202502 between Ambu, Inc. and Williamson County Emergency Medical Services and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
Williamson County Emergency Services is requesting approval of the Bridge Program Loaner Product Agreement with Ambu, Inc. The KV Channeled blades that are used on the existing video laryngoscope are no longer being manufactured. Ambu, Inc. has a program where they will loan an adapter, which will allow EMS to convert over to the A-Blade, in order to continue to use the KV device at no cost until a new laryngoscope can be purchased. Funding Source: No funding source is needed as this is a no-cost loaner agreement. Point of Contact is Mike Knipstein. A Form 1295 is not needed as Ambu, Inc. is a publicly traded company.
