Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on adopting: (1) the Williamson County Expo Center License & Use Agreement (Rev. 12/15/2023) as the form of agreement to utilize for booking events at the Williamson County Exposition Center; and (2) the Williamson County Exposition Center Rates (Fee) Schedule (Rev. 12/15/2023).
Background
License and Use Agreement: A thorough review, update and reorganization of this document was completed in close coordination with the Commissioners Court’s General Counsel’s Office.
Rates: A comprehensive review of the Expo Center rates in comparison to other similar facilities in south, central and north Texas was conducted to help determine recommended rate adjustments. The last rate adjustment occurred in 2020 when the Pavilion was completed and became operational as part of the facility complex. Existing rates will continue to apply for all current reservations. Subsequent reservations and all new reservations will be assessed the new rates.
