Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Purchase #2024131 between Williamson County and CMS Communications to replace current network switches to Cisco Catalyst 9200 switches for a total amount of $168,050.00, pursuant to TIPS contract #21050301, and authorize the execution of the purchase.
Background
Approval of this purchase will allow Information Systems to upgrade Williamson County's current 2960X network switches to 9200 Cisco switches. The 2960X switches will reach their end of life on 10.21.26. Information Systems is replacing 1/4 of the County's switches each year for the next four budget years. Funding source is 01.0100.0503.005740 per FY24 budget. Department contact is Thomas Gillespie.
