Discuss, Consider, and take appropriate action on Funding for ARPA Grant funded position for the District Clerk's office beginning January 1, 2025.

In 2021, the District Clerk received APRA funding for the Jury Coordinator position. The Jury Coordinator is a very important position to ensure juries are summoned, impaneled and qualified for the County Courts and District Courts. The position is the point of contact for citizens that need assistance qualifying for jury service both over the phone and in person with online questionnaires, along with many other duties that pertain to jury service. It is imperative that this position remain as a permanent position in the District Clerk's office.
