Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $4,305.00 for Project 22IFB110 SW Bypass Ext. (Joe Bland Construction) P: 352 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order adds a “T” intersection sign across from SW Bypass on SH 29 and replaces the solid signal globes with left turn and right turn arrows on northbound SW Bypass at SH 29 per the request of The City of Georgetown and TxDOT to prevent motorists from inadvertently driving into the property north of the intersection. Please see attached Change Order for additional details.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $4,305.00 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $3,901,716.23. The original Contract amount was $4,288,543.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $386,826.77 has been deducted from the Contract, resulting in an 9.02% net decrease in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
