Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #23RFP93 Justice Complex Improvements to JT Vaughn Construction, LLC, in the amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) for Pre-Construction Phase services and Eight Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Eight Dollars ($829,548.00) for Construction Phase services based on the initial Pre-Construction phase and proposed Construction Budget and authorize the execution of the contract. The funding source is P476.

Background

Williamson County sent out over nine thousand four hundred (9,400) notifications with four (4) vendors submitting responses for a Construction Manager at Risk for Justice Center Complex Improvements. This Request For Proposals (RFP) was previously awarded on 09.26.23 with agenda item #60, but the contract was terminated in accordance with Section 12.1.1 of the Construction Manager at Risk Contract by the Commissioners’ Court on 01.23.24 with agenda item #45. Due to the time-lapse, the updated proposals were re-evaluated and negotiated, the evaluation committee is recommending award to JT Vaughn Construction, LLC. The point of contact is Tommy Crockett and the funding source is P476.
