Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $14,513.35 for Project 23IFB33 Samsung Hwy (FM 3349 to CR 404) (Capital Excavation) P: 391 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order provides the final balancing for the overruns/underruns of contract quantities on the project that are a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $14,513.35 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $5,154,000.80. The original Contract amount was $5,139,487.45. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $14,513.35 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 0.28% net increase in the overall Contract cost.
