Acknowledgment, recognition, and approval of the appointment of Josh Schroeder to the Williamson County Conservation Foundation board of directors.
Background
At its May 15, 2024 15th annual meeting, the Williamson County Conservation Foundation (WCCF) moved to appoint Josh Schroeder to fill a vacant board seat expiring on or about May 13th, 2026. Josh currently serves as the Mayor of the City of Georgetown and has served on numerous community non-profit boards including the Boys and Girls Club, The Caring Place (chair), Rotary Club, and Partners in Education (chair) as well as other City Boards and Commissions such as Planning and Zoning (chair), Historic and Architectural Review Commission, and Zoning Board of Adjustments.
Under standard practice of delegations and authority between the County and the WCCF, appointments to the Board are approved by the WCCF board pending concurrence of Commissioners Court.
