Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on converting the operating expenses for the Veterans Treatment Court and including a not-to-exceed amount for a portion of an additional probation officer position and contract assessments for participants entering the VTC program for a total of $82,777 above the FY24 budget.
Background
On the June 27th, 2023 agenda (item #73), a request was made to convert two positions for the Veterans Treatment Court and the DWI/Drug Court to the general fund when grant funding sources were no longer available. This item was approved. This item is a request to also convert associated operating expenses when grant funding sources are no longer available in addition to the positions. A list of itemized operating expenses is attached.
