Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a subgrant award from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) for the Winter Storm Mara for Building Damage (Category E) expenditures for grant number 4705DRTXP00000001 and project number 723542 in the amount of $179,888.05.

The grant award covers expenditures Williamson County has incurred for Category E (Building Damage). The building damage expenditures has non-covered insurance building damage claims and mitigation for the Radio Towers. The mitigation for the radio towers was awarded to install ice shields to prevent damage to the components on the radio towers in future ice storm events.  Williamson County is responsible for 25% match of the grant award and will receive up to $134,916.04 after work is complete. The match will be funded by the Radio Communication System (RCS) fund.
