Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the agreement #2024277 between Del Carmen Consulting, LLC and Williamson County for the Sandra Bland Act and the Texas Racial Profiling Law Compliance and Related Services for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office in the not-to-exceed amount of $32,000.00, and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4)., and authorizing execution of the agreement.

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. This independent quarterly audit and reporting service ensures that Williamson County remains in compliance with the racial profiling laws of Texas.  The attached agreement outlines the services to be provided. There is a not-to-exceed amount of $32,000 for a three-year term, $8,000 per year. The cost and payment can be found on page one, section three of the service agreement. This agreement will cover the three-year term starting FY25-FY28. Funding source is 01.0100.0560.004100 for FY25. Department contact is Terri Countess.
