Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the service request between Williamson County's IT department and Presidio Networked Solutions Group LLC for Windows Defender in the amount of $24,275.00, as per BuyBoard contract #661-22, and authorizing the execution of the service request. 

Background

Williamson County wants to ensure that best practices are in place and that the organization has the need for security regulations, compliance, governance, and data loss protection. Presidio will assist Williamson County with a review of the Microsoft Intune Security policies associated with the implementation of CrowdStrike. Williamson County is in the process of deploying CrowdStrike, and security has been a critical concern for the organization since they leverage Intune for security policies. Approval of the Windows Defender service request will allow Presido's team of Senior Software Engineers and Project Managers to conduct workshops to review intune Firewall Security and other security features to protect Williamson County's IT Department. This purchase is for FY24 in the amount of $24,275.00 from charge account 01.0100.0503.004100. The department point of contact is Rory Tierney. This vendor is publicly traded, a 1295 form is not required.
