Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving an Addendum to the original contract, as approved by the Commissioner’s Court on February 25, 2025, under agenda item #17, for additional costs related to the Spay and Neuter Services, performed by Animal Balance, increasing the total cap of the agreement from $35,000 to $50,000.00, and authorizing the execution of the addendum.
Background
This addendum seeks to increase the original contract #202602 cap from $35,000 to $50,000, for spay and neuter services for the Animal Shelter. The cost for the first surgery weekend was $36,500, which covered 200 surgeries, plus 15 additional surgeries at $100 each. These services will continue until the completion of the agreed clinic dates: February 28 to March 2, 2025 (first set already completed), and May 16 to 18, 2025. The funding source is 01.0546.0546.003670. The point of contact is Linda Gunter.
