Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a line item transfer to the Corrections Department.
Background
This transfer is being requested to cover the anticipated shortfall in travel expenses through the end of the fiscal budget year. Our transportation deputies are scheduled to travel daily throughout the state of Texas and sometimes out-of-state to complete warrant pick-ups and offender drop-offs to other facilities.
