Background
Williamson County Emergency Communications has the distinguished honor of being the 78th Emergency Fire and 34th Emergency Police Dispatch Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) in the world. In Texas, WCEC is the first to achieve the Emergency Police Dispatch ACE and the fifth to achieve the Emergency Fire Dispatch ACE. They are also the first to achieve these accreditations together.
