Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding request of Constable Precinct One for approval of Deke Pierce to the open deputy constable position in precinct one pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov't Code 86.011.
Background
Deke Pierce is a deputy from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Pierce has accepted the position of deputy constable currently open in the Williamson County Constable Precinct One office. Mr. Pierce is currently a licensed peace officer in the State of Texas with more than 20 years of experience and meets all qualifications required for the position of deputy.
