Action includes authorizing County Judge to sign related documents (Note: lease has total of 3 annual payments and is estimated at $258,365.00 with first payment in FY17 of $90,016.95—the finalized lease schedule to be issued by Dell Financial and submitted for final approval at a later date).

Technology Services has budgeted to replace 1/3 of the current fleet of Rocket units this year with the CradlePoint units, which was set as $93,484 in (003010, Computer Equipment < $5k). This money would be leveraged for the lease. Doing the lease would save the County from expending most of the budgeted $42,000 for maintenance for the Rocket product. Because we would not be paying maintenance on the older Rocket products over the next 3 years, the County would save $19,527 by going with the lease.
