Discuss and take appropriate action on changing election precinct boundary lines for precincts 204 and 201 to create election precinct 202.
Background
Precinct 201 has more than 5,500 active registered voters which exceeds the 5,000 maximum registered voters allowed by the Texas Election Code. Precinct 204 has more than 4,900 active registered voters. The boundary changes are necessary to reduce the number of registered voters in Pcts. 201 to bring it into compliance with the Texas Election Code and to ensure Pct. 204 remains in compliance.
