Discuss and take appropriate action on changing election precinct boundary lines for precincts 259, 253, and 264 to create election precinct 263.
Background
Precinct 253 has more than 5300 voters, Precinct 259 has more than 5,600 active registered voters, both of which exceed the 5,000 maximum registered voters allowed by the Texas Election Code. The boundary changes are necessary to reduce the number of registered voters in Pcts. 253, 264, and 259 to bring them into compliance with the Texas Election Code.
