Discuss and take appropriate action on changing election precinct boundary lines for precincts 488, 424, and 402 to create election precincts 489 and 490.
Background
Precinct 424 has more than the maximum 6,800 active registered voters and Precinct 488 has more than 5,100. This is more than the 5,000 allowed by the Texas Election Code. The boundary changes are necessary to reduce the number of registered voters in Pcts 424 and 488 to bring them into compliance with the Texas Election Code.Pur
