Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding IFB 1704-154, Aggregates for Surface Treatments, to the only bidder Vulcan Materials, for Item # 4 only, and authorize Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive sealed bids for Aggregates for Surface Treatments (Items 1-3) under IFB 1705-163.
Background
IFB 1704-154 was opened on 5/1/17. Purchasing only received 1 bid from Vulcan Materials who no bid all items with the exception of item # 4. Road & Bridge has recommended that we award item 4 only and rebid for items 1-3 as per the attached documents.
