Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on exempting Pediatric Emergency Standard, Inc. from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements established by Section 262.024 (a) (7) of the Texas Local Government Code, as the sole source provider of Handtevy Pediatric Resuscitation System and entering into an agreement and addendum.

Williamson County EMS is requesting to enter into an agreement with Pediatric Emergency Standards, Inc. for an initial term of twelve (12) months, beginning from date of award by Commissioners Court and ending after (12) consecutive months.  At the end of the current fiscal year, the Commissioners Court reserves the right to extend this contract, by mutual agreement of both parties, as it deems to be in the best interest of the County.  Qualifying documents are attached including a Handtevy quote for Medication Management Software Access Clinical Team Consultation and Support for a first year total of $3,590.00
