The Williamson County Public Information Office has been working with Legal, IT, department heads and elected officials with social media accounts to create a policy governing social media accounts that are considered an extension of the county's information and communications network. The policy does not apply to elected officials' personal accounts. The policy creates procedures and guidelines that provide consistency and continuity for these accounts.
