Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for the County Attorney's Office.
Background
During the budget process we received an email from the CA's office clarifying the need for a total of $5400 in the certification pay line item which included a new position. The position they were referring to was one in which they were hiring or back filling for FY 17. We misunderstood this to mean the $5400 was inclusive of the certification pay needed to include the new position we were recommending for FY18. With that said, we did not give them enough funding in their certification pay line for FY18.
