Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment to acknowledge additional expenditures for Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
 

EMS is moving a station to Round Rock at 2721 Sam Bass Rd, Fire Station No. 9.  The County will pay the City of Round Rock up to $120,000.00 for construction costs to make the necessary improvements for an ambulance bay.  To fund the construction costs, the County received in FY 2017 from Williamson County ESD #1 a payment in the amount of $128,333.33 for the termination of the agreement between ESD #1 and the County as requested by ESD #1.  The prior year reimbursement provides the funding for the construction costs of the new station.
