Discuss, consider and take any appropriate action regarding establishing the office of county fire marshal to be effective at the proposed date of April 1, 2018 or as determined by the Court pursuant to authority granted to commissioners court under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code. § 352.011.
Background
Positions for the County Fire Marshal Office were funded during the FY18 annual budget process, with the expressed understanding that a County Fire Marshal office would be created.
