Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on rejecting bids for Herbicides under IFB # 1805-228 and authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive sealed bids for Herbicides under IFB # 1806-244.
Background
Williamson County received 5 (five) bids for IFB # 1805-228. After review and evaluation of the bids received it was determined that a revision in specifications was necessary to ensure proper products were obtained. It is Road and Bridge's recommendation that we rebid with the revised specifications to ensure the best offer in the best interest of the county. Williamson County is seeking qualified suppliers for the purchase and delivery of herbicides and chemicals utilized in the maintenance of highways, streets and bridges. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0200.0210.003554. Funding was approved in the FY2018 budget.
