Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to authorize the County Judge to execute a resolution approving the submittal of an application in response to the 2018 Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Transportation Discretionary Grant, with a commitment to contribute to the local match if a project is selected for funding. Funding Source: LRTP Funds and Bond Funds.
Background
Applications for the BUILD Transportation Discretionary Grant are due on July 19th. If the project is selected for funding, the required local match is a minimum 20%. Corridor C from Sam Houston at Patriot Way to SH 29 will be submitted with Williamson County as the sponsor.
