Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the proposal for geospatial data collection to support the operations of Williamson County Road and Bridge Department from Merrick & Company in the amount of $80,067.19 pursuant to DIR contract # DIR-TSO-3388.
Background
Williamson County is participating in a cost sharing program with the State of Texas (Texas Water Development Board) and cities within Williamson and Hays Counties. Participating cities include Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, Round Rock, and San Marcos. This project will provide Williamson County the data to create contour maps and elevating models that can be used in a variety of projects including flood studies, road design and public safety. The department point of contact is Kon Kwan. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0200.0210.004150. Funding was approved in the FY2018 budget.
