Discuss and take appropriate action to approve a consulting agreement with The jwLehman Group in an amount not to exceed $5,000.
Background
The County Auditor's Office is requesting that the Commissioners Court approve this consulting services agreement. The contract will not exceed $5,000. The monies are available in the professional services budget of the County Auditor's Office. The purpose of the contract is to assist and advise the Auditor's Office with preparation and submission of a request for waiver from the State of Texas' mandated Collection Improvement Program. The agreement has been reviewed by the Commissioners Court legal staff and Contract Audit. Auditor's Office Staff will be working with the various fee collecting offices associated with the courts in the County regarding this matter.
