Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding IFB # 1806-244 Herbicides to the lowest responsive bidder Red River Specialties as the primary vendor, Nutrien Solutions as the secondary vendor, and Site One Landscape Supply as the tertiary vendor.
Background
Purchasing solicited sealed bids for herbicides. Twenty-four (24) vendors viewed the IFB and five (5) vendors responded. After reviewing the bids received, Road & Bridge has determined that Red River Specialties submitted the overall lowest and best offer and is recommending them for award as the primary vendor, Nutrien Solutions as the secondary vendor, and Site One Landscape Supply as the tertiary vendor for all bid items. The contract term will be from August 21, 2018 to August 20, 2019 with two (2) annual renewal options. The department point of contact is Terron Evertson. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0200.0210.003554. Funding was approved in the FY2018 budget.
