Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action for approval of Information Release Contract between Texas Workforce Commission and the Williamson County Sheriff's Office including authority for Chief Deputy to sign same.
Background
The purpose of this annual contract is to provide the Sheriff's Office with access to confidential TWC Agency data. WCSO is authorized to use TWC information solely for the following purpose: to assist in criminal investigations; to assist in locating defendants, witnesses and fugitives in criminal cases; and to assist in locating persons with outstanding warrants. Our current contract will expire on September 30, 2018. There are no changes to the General Terms and Conditions pursuant to this amendment and the annual fee for one year will be $1,500.00 as the previous year. This contract would remain into effect until September 30, 2019.
