Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between MTech Comfort Systems USA and Williamson County for HVA replacement at the Juvenile Justice Center in the not-to-exceed amount of $34,760.00 pursuant to TIPS contract # 180205, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
The A/C Unit that serves the JJC Courtroom has a Freon leak that has been temporarily patched but is in need of replacement due to the lack of a permanent repair solution for the unit. This unit also uses R-22 refrigerant which is becoming obsolete and due to this fact alone should be replaced as soon as possible. The Department Contact is Toby Bonnet. Funding source is 01.0100.1045.004510 as approved in the FY2018 budget.
